Government Motors here now

The long expected bankruptcy of General Motors appears to be on the brink of actually becoming reality now. The stark reality is that this should have happened months, if not years ago.

Now the Big Three will be:
The US Government Motors (USGM) - based in Washington DC
Fiat - based in Italy
Ford - based in Brazil

It would appear that the modern facilities and low cost of labor that Ford enjoys in South America may carry it as the sole survivor of the original big three. Now will come the test of the rest. Can Chrysler/Fiat and GM make a return to respectability?

Onanother note; does the US Senate hold hearings now on the Chairman position at General Motors?
