Mahindra

Now the drama continues as Mahindra tries to bring a new variety of compact diesel truck to market in the US. After years of waiting and many delays, the EPA has approved the Mahindra trucks for sale on our shores. Unfortunately, Mahindra has terminated relations with the distribution company that was to sell them here through a prearranged dealer network.

But wait - there's more. The distribution company filed suit a few weeks ago to gain renumeration for the lost revenue due to the delays in getting the vehicles licensed for sale in this country.

So, the EPA takes forever; the distributor sues the manufacturer for the delays; the manufacturer cuts ties to the distributor; and the public still doesn't get the vehicle that could revolutionize light duty trucks in America.

The American consumer loses again.
