What!?! Poor Management at a US Auto Company?
This is truly an amazing article. Not for the content, but the fact that it actually makes the news after two of the "Big 3" auto manufacturers have filed and exited bankruptcy.
GM hasn't turned a profit in decades and Chrysler is trying to find a company that wants them and a competent CEO to lead them. And 'a lack of financial discipline' is newsworthy? How about the fact that the federal task force head is also being investigated for fraud and corruption - is that news?
Unfortunately, the economy is still barely level, and is not creating jobs. Without jobs, people will have a very difficult time buying cars. Without buyers, or updated, relevant, desireable products, these companies are more than likely predestined to failure again. This time, the government may not have enough money to bail them out.
